Um. Ok. So... first of all, my cousin is amazing. Go check out her gallery. NOW. :3 When summer first started, I spent a week at her house and we had a blast, and I watched as she filled out this (dare I say) little 100 question art thing that she got tagged with. I ended up being tagged too, and even though it's optional, I've never really replied with anything I've been tagged with. So, here goes. Some questions I left the same, put her answer in quotes as she was the last person to fill this out, and added my comment after hers. Because it may not seem like it, but we're amazingly similar. Here goes.

01. What is your pen name?
ILR, Kino, sometimes Giggles...

02. What made you choose this name?
Well actually my main character in WoW (World of Warcraft) is named Kino. Dunno why I chose it, I just thought it'd be cute. And hey, guess what, 4 years later.. I'm still using it!! lol

03. Do you use PC or Mac?
PC, are you kidding??

04. What programs do you use most often?
Ummm..... usually Photoshop Elements 5, but I'm trying to save up some money so I can buy CS4...

05. Do you use mouse, or tablet?
Wacom Bamboo Fun! (it's Black. I like the texture of it too. X3)

06. What color or color combination do you find yourself using most often?
I love neon colors, but they're sometimes hard to paint in with the picture I want, so I usually end up using pretty bland ones.

07. What part of a picture do you put most effort into?
Probably the clothes, they're not that challenging, but you get down to every little detail and eventually you're going to be spending hours on them and you don't even realise it.

08. How long does it take you do draw a picture?
On paper, usually a couple of minutes. The time that's usually spent the most it thinking of what to DRAW, though. But on Photoshop, it usually takes a while to get the lines where I want them so it can end up taking me an hour or two.

09. Do you keep your rough drafts?
On paper, not a lot, but on Photoshop, I like to look back on them for references.

10. What font do you use most often?
I like Kirsten IRC, but that's a custom font. Usually when I'm in my normal silly mood I'll use Comic Sans.

11. When you scan your image, what DPI do you use?
Um I don't have a scanner currently, so I have no idea what you're talking about. ^_^;;

12. Do you do anything else when you're drawing?
Well, I tend to have a soda by the keyboard, and I sometimes put in a CD and listen to some music to get me inspired.

13. Approximately how many pictures do you draw in a month?
PICTURE pictures, like, the ones I actually take TIME on, usually only three or four. But the rest are doodles, and I do a crap load of doodles, especially during school, so Imma say about one a day. Lol

14. What kind of paper do you draw your pictures on?
Anything and everything. You may find doodles on the newspaper, magazines, notepads, desks, and even in my Dad's planner, but that sometimes gets him annoyed. lol XD

15. What kind of paper do you use for rough sketches and drafts?
Usually when I'm working on a character design I'll use plain white paper, but other than that, it doesn't matter.

16. How long does it take you to ink something?
Well on paper, I have the rough sketch, then I ink that, then I take a clean paper and trace that (over a lightbox if I can get my hands on one), then I ink it in more clean lines and erase the pencil. For a normal picture it will take about 10 minutes to do it all. But if it's detailed and bigger than normal, I usually spend lots of time on it so it can take up to hours. On Photoshop, however, I can't ever achieve perfect line-art so it takes about as long as what I do on paper.

17. Do you do comics, or fan comics?
Only all the time. XD Most of them are in a sketchbook though, and if I owned a scanner, I would probably upload some already.

18. Do you like comics? Are they fun to make?
Yeah, they're fun, but they take forever.

19. Have you ever submitted anything to a magazine?
Nope.

20. Did it get published?
Uh...

21. Who are your favorite artists?
Ohhhh gosh, I like anyone and everyone... the styles are so unique and different, it's hard to name a few. But off the top of my head I'm going to say Lar deSouza, he's an amazing comic artist. I also like Cheeks, Bleedman and Endling here on dA.

22. Do you like anime/manga? If so, what are your favorite series?
Mmmm, I'm not addicted or anything, but I like to watch the occasional Death Note, FMA, Azumanga Daio, and Gundam Wing. I do watch DBZ as well, but I'm not gonna go there. X)

23. Do you like cartoons/comics? If so, what are your favorite series?
HECK YES!!!!!!!! I thrive off cartoons. I'd say my absolute favorites are Transformers(G1), Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, and Transformers: Animated (Yes, I'm a noob. Whaaaat?? Optimus's waistline is smexy!! XD). I read comics too, like LFG, but I read Marvel a lot as well.

24. Any artists that you wish you could draw like?
Oh man.... probably *makani, *Blithegirl, and, of course, *bri-chan. ^_^

25. Do you read a lot of books?
I have to be in the mood to read a book. Even then, I have to force myself through them. Unless there's cheesy cliche romance, I'll usually put the book down before I start to hurt myself. >u<

26. Did you ever buy a book to inspire or teach you to draw?
I have a lot of concept art books from D*sney and Pixar movies, also a lot of cartooning books as well. I like looking at the different styles and rough sketches, those are my favorite.

27. Any video games you enjoy?
WoW, LoZ, some SSBB, but most of the time I'm busy watching a movie or drawing or writing a fanfic. <XD

28. Any favorite characters from video games?
Ohhhh boy. Well. Let's see.... There's Gannondorf, Skull Kid, Black Mage, and the Poe Keeper to begin with. I'm not even going to name them all, it'd take up too much space. LOL

29. Do you have a favorite writer?
I enjoy Terry Brooks.

30. Any books you really enjoy?
The first book in almost every series I read. After the first book, they usually get really crappy and cliche and you know what comes next around every. single. page. That, or the writing style gets on your nerves.

31. Do you draw fanart?
But of course! I wouldn't be ILR if I didn't draw Richard all the time. Speaking of, I haven't uploaded any Richard in a while. Maybe I'll do that next.

32. Do you listen to music while you draw?
Almost always.

33. Any recommended songs?
Well, I tend to listen to anything and everything, but I'd have to say Eisbrecher and Rammstein if you're in the mood. They're german, though. But man, they're good.

34. Any other art websites that you really enjoy?
Google Images! ^_^

35. Are there any websites that you go to everyday?
There's deviantArt, Yahoo!Mail, Fanfiction.net, YouTube, Gmail, IMDB, IGN, Addicting Games, and Netflix. X3

36. What is your dream website like?
Uhh... I'm... not sure I have a dream Website... o_o;;

37. Do you like your own art?
When I convince myself it's good, yes, but most of the time I always tend to critisize myself and that makes a lot of people mad. Like Kiki. LOL jk XD

38. What do you enjoy watching on television?
Mostly Cartoon Network, some Nickalodeon, the SciFi channel is a frequent stop as well.

39. Favorite celebrity?
Oh gosh, probably Peter Cullen, Bill Nighy, and Brad Bird.

40. Favorite color?
Purple!! I also like neon green, silver, and black. Hot Pink is a favorite too.

41. Favorite food?
Hmmmm. Well. Let's see. I like tootsie rolls----wait no, food, you say? Uhhh... o_O;; Wurstbrot? ^_^;;

42. Favorite drink?
Any kind of soda. Or anything carbonated for that matter.

43. Do you like to go shopping? If yes, where? And for what?
YUS. Anywhere they sell clothes. Mostly the mall, though. And I do like to get various trinkets and decorations for my room at IKEA... for for clothes I like Hot Topic, Zumiez, Wet Seal, Converse outlets, Nordstrom, Murieces, Macy's, and, of course, Wal-Mart. XD

Most of the time, my mom tends to be picky and takes over, though. Lol...

Um... the computer?

Better than most in my family, but my dad is the real computer geek so I have yet to surpass him. X)

47. Do you want to become a professional artist?
I'd love to.

I want to be a character designer at D*sney Animation Studios... or work on concept art at Blizzard Entertainment. DD

Video Games, speaking German, writing, umm...

Only all the time.

51. What's your favorite movie?
TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN. SCREW the critiqs I'm seeing that movie again and again. I hope they get an Oscar for best Voice of Optimus Prime and Special Effects. Primus, I love Peter Cullen.

A few, but I don't like to because they elaborate when they say "1st place winner! With her A-MAZING artwork, blahblahblah!!" Ugh.

53. When did you start drawing seriously?
Prrrretty much my whole life... Drawing is fun, but it's also tedious when you want to work hard and get somewhere with it.

54. Do you use references? If so, for what?
Usually hands and eyes. If I'm having a hard time drawing an outfit I'll look up some clothe designs as well.

Yup, in many different things. dA NOT being one of them.

Yyyyes and no, IRL almost all my cousins do, but online only a few try their hand at anything.

Not really.

I could say I do, but my dad would deny it.

Sometimes, most of the time I just stop instead of forcing myself to draw.

I dunno, Lar, do you consider me a friend? :3

65. Where do you often hang out?
It tends to be the movies most often, but if no one's up to seeing a movie (which is rare) we just have a nerdy sleep-over at short notice, LOL.

67. Are there any situations in which you really don't like being an Artist?
Most all of the time. For example, it gets kind of annoying when you're doodleing in class or just drawing a picture in public, and everybody either stares or goes "How old are you, again?!" or "Are you tracing?!" or the occasional "Whoooooooah........" and stares some more. -_-;;

68. How about situations that make you love it?
I love drawing, don't get me wrong, but what makes me love it is just being able to draw. When I accomplish a picture that I think makes me proud, that's a rare moment when I get to pat myself on the back.

69. What's the one thing that makes you grateful that the internet exists?
A lot of my friends, all over the world. That, and being able to look up anything and everything whenever or wherever I want to. X3

70. Is there anything out there that makes you wish the internet didn't exist?
"...Porn." *sage nod* Indeed. That and SLASH. *facepalm*

71. What's your first drawing?
I have no idea. Probably a flower when I was 2.

72. Any art you did prior to that?
Beats me...

73. Has your style changed a lot since then?
I would say so, yes.

Um, in all ways? Lol....

75. Have you experienced artist's block before?
Almost all the time. When I'm not on it, I'm usually too busy to even sit down and take the time to draw, even though I feel inspired. It sucks, really.

76. If so, how do you usually get out of it?
Sitting down and spending hours browsing through deviantArt and reading Fanfiction.

77. What do you do when you can't get out of it?
Continue browsing dA and reading Fanfiction.

78. Any people that have influenced you a lot?
Usually the artists on deviantArt, I can't imagine any other people who have been more inspiring. That, and meine mutter, who never seems to stop giving me constructive critizism, no matter how perfect my friends think my drawings are.

79. What made you want to start drawing?
Probably watching the Little Mermaid. That, and Powerpuff Girls. XD

81. Has anything ever made you want to quit art all together?
Um, not particularly. I get frustrated with drawings a lot, but never to the poiont where I want to put down my pencil and never pick it up again.

I really appreciate it, and try to stick to it myself.

In my inbox--I'm not even going to go there. But in general, no.

86. Do you upload high quality versions of your Deviations, or do you prefer to upload a lower quality?
Uhhh, I hope they're high quality...

Nope.

Not.. really.....

Oh geez, I wish. I'm not even fraggin old enough to get one, and even then, I highly doubt I'll be able to get one.

Yeeeaaaah...... but it was more of a painting class, we don't really have a class totally on drawing here. I wish I would have done better in it, I wasn't really enjoying the whole painting thing. I sucked at it, anyway. -_-;;

Mm-mm. Maybe eventually, though.

Never. I have always drawn because I wanted to, not because it was cool.

Weeeellllll, at the moment, getting through High School in one piece, but eventually I'd like to work as a character designer of sorts.
